Custom Web Development
Custom web development plans are for clients who need more than a small brochure-type website. Database integration, eCommerce integration, complex dynamic data and client interaction are all possible. I am currently developing exclusively in PHP and MySQL environments. Here are two examples that illustrate what is possible.
Arlington Alliance for Youth
The Arlington Alliance seeks to address needs of youth in Arlington following the goals of America's Promise. The website includes the following dynamic elements:
- Speaker's Bureau that matches speakers with organizations that need them.
- Dynamicaly generated news stories updated on the backend password protected administration area.
- A web resources collection that integrates an open source web links application.
- Numerous forms/applications for functions of the organization.
The Plan Factory
The Plan Factory markets thousands of stock home plans and produces a large number of custom home plans. The website includes the following dynamic elements:
- A dynamically generated, searchable collection of house plans.
- A saved favorite plans feature.
- A builder's section where builders can be matched with their favorite plans.
- A communication system for designers to interact and share custom designs with clients.
- A photo gallery of fully constructed homes matched with their plans.
- Uploading of various planning documents.
